I worked in a customer service job many years ago and trust me, they are not provided you’re entire record and payment history. Thats for people to know MUCH HIGHER than them and if they do anything that is not on the screen in front of them…well back to the unemployment line you go…which is not an option for many. Don’t blame the reps, blame the company that’s screwing you!

Its good to know that I am not the only person who hates getting screwed over by big business….I am so on your side with this one! If everyone was smart enough to stand up for their rights as consumers, maybe we wouldn't have such common practices like this. GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!

I started off witha Providian Card, then Wamu took it over, at that point my credit was excelent, no late payments or missed payments,

I always paid MORE than the minimum payment.

Then Chase took over, the first payment I mailed them they said they DIDN’T receive it.
LOST payment huh, yeah right.
I never got the payment back and it had a
return address on it.
Next month my due date was changed without notice, made payment late,
same thing, next 3 months.
Chase is a RIP OFF

YUP.. Happened to me and at least 2 other friends of mine just this past month. Chase Bank is unfairly charging late fee by changing your due date and other predatory lending practices. Unlike other credit card companies Chase Bank is very stubborn.

This is what you need to do. Call them to ask them for a reversal. You will get denied. Record date of this call.
Call them back again – you will get denied a 2nd time. Ask for their manager. He may or may not refund you but he will not change your late payment history. Record date of this call.

File a complaint with http://BBB.org enter you zip code and click File a complaint button. Look up J.P. Morgan Chase by entering their customer service number 800-432-3117

hah I cut my chase card in half a couple years ago when I saw their new interest rate in tiny print 29.99%
