Pakistan is asking for international loans of more than $9bn in the hopes of fending off a balance of payments crisis. It’s deficit has almost doubled in 2008 to nearly $6bn. All of this has left many people struggling to feed their families, and as Al Jazeera’s Imran Khan reports, it has driven some people to take a desperate step.

So what can we do as Americans? They religion hates every fiber of our being and there country or government are pigs. Even if you send in Christan Ministers they will kill them. How about we take care of the poor in the USA and let them have there civil war or not. Who cares about the millions of Americans that have no health care or let alone have running water or education? Fight the good fight of your own country because they would do the same thing.

@digitalcntrl Pakistan is not a part of the Middle East. It’s historically connected with India as the river India is named after, the Indus is in Pakistan. Up until 1947, it was a part of British India. Partition was a tragedy.

Suicide attacks whether in Masjids or open markets killing mostly innocent & poor people are not at all taught or supported in Islam Quran or Sunnah of our Holy Prophet. At Mecca no reaction to disbelievers dogmatism even in self defense was allowed. At Medina when our Holy Prophet took over as head of state He organized the Muslims so that His group conquered Mecca within 08 yrs but no such action was performed by any Muslim. How do we recover the national wealth looted in the form of heavy loans? A loan of say Rs 500 million is sanctioned on the name of industry. Rs 350 million are thrown abroad in forex account & Rs 150 million are invested in the industry. After a few yrs when forex account has jumped to double & industry has returned the invested amount with desired profit bankruptcy is declared. The industry is confiscated & auctioned for a meager amount. The same story is again repeated by the new industrialist

There are great many social organizations working in Pakistan. The organizations like Selani Trust, Edhi Trust, Chippa Trust are providing great services to the needy people. We must donate our Zakats to them for their encouragement. In the city of Karachi, these organizations are feeding free food to almost 60,000 people daily.

A politically & financially unstable govt is the target of Anti Pakistani Community since 1947 whom they can blackmail and hold as a slave. If law & order is enforced it means a politically strong govt ruling Pakistan which the Anti Pakistan Community doesn’t allow as it would just follow what’s in the interest of the country and not its enemies. Pakistan’s solemnity is being auctioned at a high rate globally to each ruler that comes to rule on condition of slavery.
what Pakistan needs is law and order, that the laws of the land be applied equally. And the government needs to scrap the British colonial laws meant to rule not govern, you fix these 2 things Pakistanis themselves will take care of everything.

India was once a land without Pakistan. When the muslims wanted a separate land from India, have they ever considered trust or faith? The next thing is, what does Pakistan has to offer India? I’m sorry if that sounds rude, but the faith was broken since 1945, so how can history allow us to share the faith back together? damage made.
Bhutto when took over as the Prime Minister his team of economists gave him a rough estimate about the industrial production, & income which wasnt found in Pakistani banks. Bhutto in a public speech addressed the industrial class & ordered them to bring back the money they had illegally moved out. About 25% amount returned but Bhutto wasnt satisfied. A constitutionally authoritative public account committee needs to do this job and take Pakistan out of the financial crisis it is in since 1947.

I agree with you anythings better than being part of India. Most of India’s poor living in Mumbai slums are Muslims and live on less than $1/day. Look at what they did to Slumdog Milionare child star”s slum house they tore it down. I m not in to counting names just making a point BTW Premji was the richest Indian 4 years ago and still is one in top 10 the problem is one of misconception about each other but one thing is beyond doubt that Pakistan has not stopped shooting itself in the foot ever since Jinnah death and years of poor leadership has landed it in a very uncomfortable territory, in the end I think muslims in India live reasonable life but can’t compare it with Pakistan coz I haven’t been there.
