Sullivan schools apply for $5M loan for energy efficiency project
BLOUNTVILLE — If Tuesday’s application for $5 million in Energy Efficient Schools Initiative (EESI) loan money for Sullivan County Schools is approved, a total of $15 million in those loans soon will be flowing into the county’s three school systems.

They filed a lawsuit in San Francisco County Superior Court alleging that San Mateo County and its then treasurer, Lee Buffington, failed to adhere to prudent investment practices and put too much of the their funds in Lehman Brothers account.

What happens to the status of student loans if I transfer undergraduate schools?
I’m just past the school and the students have some of my previous school student loans (Sallie Mae and Federal Direct Loans). Is there a kind of hub that my new status of the application will be sent so that the credit rating not only know that I stopped going to school (and thus result in a payment on the loan before maturity)? Or should I check my current school registration and send it to each credit agency itself?
