What is the best way to get loans for college without a cosigner?
I am currently in my second year at a local college and transfer them to the University next year. I want to begin searching for funding options at this time. My parents are very poor credit so they could not help me COSIGN loan. I know, and Sallie Mae FASFA, but everyone knows that other options? In addition, I will not live on campus so I can use such loans to pay for an apartment?

Those are pretty much your only options other than applying for scholarships (which IMO are jokes- Ive yet to receive one and I was a valedictorian in my school, had all the right stuff etc- but I am a white male soooo). In any case, if they have poor credit, then I suspect they may not make much which should allow you to get good financial aid from the government. In addition, you can use this aid for your rent payment- IF you have leftover money after your college takes tuition out. I do that all the time- but I will be paying a boatload once I graduate!
Also- relax- what I did one time (had to call my college for it) was have my parents apply for a plus loan, they got denied, and my college then gave me the same amount in a stafford loan instead which didnt require the credit check of course.
